What is an igneous rock


Igneous rock is one of the hardest rocks out of metamorphic and sedimentary.


A geologist trys to find igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. Igneous rocks are formed from molten lava or magma and made from crystals which have grown into each other.


They are often hard never contain fossils and are not usually layered. Igneous rocks are never rubbed off and igneous rocks are from volcanos.


I think every one should like igneous rocks.
